hi everyone out there.. here is now another explosing latest news... however, i m not the witness this time, our former LG, Ch3 or known as CCC is the one who saw it all...

hahaha...

must be looking forward for the news right, ok, here is comes.

One day in study week (forgot which day ad, will reconfirm), CCC is having is date wif someone else at Qb --> Palace of India. well, the restaurant is located quite at one corner wif not many ppl will go over there. somemore, hear the name also noe is High class restaurant. is "palace" u noe. winkwinkwink

ok, well, and, at this moment, CCC saw one of our LG member is having dinner wif another middle east guy. n they r drinking champagne (accordin to CCC). well, suppose is a nice dinner if CCC is not there. hahaha biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

after few days, CCC meet this member again, and he ask her who is tat middle east guy. well, she ans CCC tat is her LECTURER. erm... so our member here is having dinner wif champagne wif her lecturer at Qb de Palace of India. tat's the end of the story.

once again, i m not tryin to start a rumour or wat. n this is not a congrating post also.

by using this chance, we should further discuss mayb some of the "rumours" amount our own sch lecturers. well, i believe there is sure some "underneath" stories behind the "Noble" lecturers here in the sch tat remain unknown for all the students.

so, anyone noe abt their sch lecturers de rumours or the stories behind them, whether true or not true, can be share here. it is one of the well to understand USM better and we will have better look to the sch or the uni through lecturer.   winkwinkwink

eh CT.. u sound like i m talking bad leh.. actually is not talkin ill behind of them. we actually is jus trying to talk abt student wif lecturer or lecturer wif lecturer. didnt mean to hurt either the student or the lecturer. so pls dun get me misunderstood ya..

n i didnt said tat i do not believe there is nice, generous n good lecturer in USM.

this is an quite "dangerous" topic, anyway, jus look it wif open heart n dun feel bad or wat. after all, if the lecturer is really the kind of person we r talkin abt, we cant do anythin also right..

anyway, i m interested to noe more abt tat lecturer. CT, y dun u tell us more??

well, nowadays not all lecturers r really good. not trying to shoot lecturers la. but we all noe la, teachers can be good or bad, there is two sides for everythin. pls look at this topic wif mature mind.

He's a very generous and kind lecturer. That night shouldn't only be 2 of us but my room mate wanted to study so she didn't go. So left the 2 of us.

We don't have any secret or 'undertable' affairs. Just lecturer & student k.

A word he is too generous and too helpful man. Donate and bake cookies and furry puff to orphanage some more.

Dont say about tips in exam la, some time kena  some times not becuase he is not the person who set question ma, hahaha

He did pay for the BATI student 2006/2007 student to play footsal for 3 hours non-stop. Play till you said you don't want. Not only that, treat all the studens with 100+ summore...

Don's say McDonalds, I wanna belanja him at Secret and Old Town he also not willing to give although he come later and he pay for all on my tables~~~


The purpose he did that is to make sure his students feel free to ask him about the studies and about the way of life. In addition, he do not want his student to involve in crimes such as drug trafficking or Mat Rempit. Healthy life style is the best! Say no to Smoking and lots more la.

Jun Yuan: I know you are Mat Canoe, so i know you are gua chai ...
If you think you still have time, just go take 2nd degree in translation la then you can get to know more about the lecturer because i talk until my mulut berbuih also hard for you all to believe!

Ming Chee: just careful la ya because our university get plenty of free spies recently. Whenever you go out just let them know and introduce him to them so that they can know more about the lecturer.

OMG! I just got back to the forum after a week, and I can clearly see that CT has been having way TOO much free time on his hands. Really created a mess everywhere. Woi, what are you other moderators doing??

Anyway, lets get back to the topic shall we. I agree with some of the RELEVANT comments given. Indeed I do believe that there are some genuinely nice lectureres out there. I have nothing but respect and admiration for my own supervisor.

He was recently awarded the Outstanding Young Malaysian Award 2008 for the Academic Leadership and Accomplishment category. He shared the very same stage with the singer Ah Niu which I believe the Chinese Ed. members are familiar with, but whom I personally do not know. His achievements are really inspiring for me. I'm not saying he is perfect as he has some of his own faults aswell and we do disagree sometimes.

He may not be as generous as MC or CT's lecturer, nevertheless I'm not complaining as he helped to sponsor my field trip to Sabah and recently paid for my travel, accomodation and fees for a conference that I attended in Sarawak. I'm very grateful for that. Occasionally, he treats us to Red Box sessions or meals.

So, to cap it off. Follow your instincts and listen to waht your seniors have to say, They will know best whether you have genuinely generous supervisor or not.

I think one of the biggest problem of that dinner is, because me (female) going out with a lecturer (male), so people might think others rather than just a dinner.

If that day it was a guy (let's take Loy Chee as example) going out with a male lecturer and encountered by CCC, I think he will say nothing.

For me, I don't mind being said but just afraid the image of the lecturer not good la... Because in USM there's a rule that lecturer can't be close to students including going out together.

I don't think hanging out with lecturers is a problem, but the people will feel strange if you hang out with the lecturer alone, even if you are a guy....

I almost sleep in every class on middle seats. Luckily the lecturers did not scold me so far, only one lecturer woke me up before. I am sure they know who am I...biggrinbiggrin

So be good with your lecturer lo... Normall I also hang out woth my Tourism lecturer. We go to have tea together and chat about experiences. That's our topic. Nothing weired. Maybe tak terserempak with Mr. Nexus la. If not news spread and everthing will change again. Jk....wahahahhaha.

I heard there're quite a lot of generous and outgoing lecturers in management school... You can consider about taking master in it too... :P
