Renovation of USM swimmin pool

Please ask the pakcik to remove those broken tiles and replace with new one la... People easily get injured by stepping on them.

As an example, when we walk up to the stairs and reach the pool, look at the right hand side, the tiles are broken. People who stepped on it will get a cut. (Saya sudah kena...)

Anyway, my dear LGs, just beware of the broken tiles. Many of us don't wear slippers on duty days, it's dangerous when we walk around the pool, so take note of that. Be careful ya.

If got such things, you juz go tell the pak cik, sometime they forgot or lazy, so you have to push, tell him got swimmer complain, as easy as that, if after u tell, still long time no action, then you can tell one of the exco, we will handle it.

Although we can handle it straight without pak cik, but tell pak cik is respect la...later they dulan us, we very cham de...HAHAHA...

Sigh!

My dreams of moving back to the old life guard room before I graduate will never come to pass. Typical to the style in which our typical MALAYsian contractors handle projects, the renovation at the pool has been delayed to the point that is beyond ridiculous.

It was originally suppose to be a 2 month project that was suppose to complete in January, but up to now, it seems like there is still a long way to go. Jun Yuan, Min Fey and Soon Wen, don't be surprised if you all can't move back to the big pool before you all graduate as well.
The endless procrastination.......

I will really miss the days in the old lifeguard room. The one thing I will miss the most is having my own pigeon hole. I hope the Sports Unit keeps to their promise and supplies the new LG room with new pigeon holes.

Members make sure you all take good care of your pigeon holes the next time you receive them and maintain the cleanliness of the room.

I oso feel sick with the renovation work that all the contractors done la...
just a small renovation can take so long time... Really sad lo...

Never keep their promise oso which stated will be done during jan!!! I think they should pay for the lateness as other country will do lo.

Even i can feel the new look of the pool will be grand but pointless if it takes so long time...

I guess perhaps actually MASUM should be held in USM in this year???

WAH!! cannot complete even we grad.. dun scare us. i can hardly imagine wat is the renovation going on.. took 2 years to complete?? as we r building up new DEWAN..

dun worry, after we noe whats the design of the pigeon hole(if there is), we can consider of the exLG pigeon hole like last time ma...

although the feel is not the same la, but can syok awhile la...haha...Hope can finish by next term le...

I think the renovation will be done soon because the contractor also can't pay much for the delay. We might get a new LG room by next sem and looking forward to the pigeon hole.

hahahah....pigeon hole...bye bye my pigeon hole...but good news is i still will be around penang after the sem reopen...kekeke...miss LG so much man.......berat hati to leave USM LG...hahaah..will be start working around august if no accident happen...heheh...so will stay with usm LG until my convo i think....hahahahaha..yahooooo!!!!!!!!!!1111

the compact jump area should be renovate lo....especially 2nd floor ar....too dangerous....
hmm... i think destroy it also good idea ....u noe la..dangerous ma...maybe got people climb up also we duno....better destroy it

Keep dreaming la, not like it is going to happen. Even if it does, I will still drag all the lifesaving students to Pisa to jump. Will also force you all to have your fitnest test there. Hehehe.

yea, the next day, 6 in the morning go PISA for LG FT dy. Still drizzling, so still cold. We were like, why don't replacement straight? So cold how to swim and such....

Nevertheless, we strectched and jump into the pool and....OMG!!!! I froze instantaneously.

But tell you, that coldness numbs everything and you don't feel as tired/exhausted as FT in USM.....

After fitness test, we do the normal stuffs lor, catapulting people into the frigid waters....LOL, was fun though.

Then we go eat PAN MEE..... which I vomitted out after 2 hours of nap....LOL

there is only one word in my mind...
nope...not cold...
but...
SWIM!!!

that's the only way to keep your body...
em...slightly warmer...
but still damn cold...

but i prefer swim in cold water...
feels more refreshing than warm water...like our usm pool...

True you know, swimming in cold water feels better. And actually the cold thing will be stuck for only like 50-100 metres. After that your body gets used to it and no issue liaw..... The most most most most most refreshing part is the 1st plunge..... NO matter how sleepy you are, guaranteed to make you 'open eyes big big'

I have to agree with you guys,

Your body goes numb within the first 5 secs, but after that once we start swimming our bodies get use to it.
I actually enjoyed it. Very fun and refreshing.

Freeezing cold = wide awake!

Swim with cold water is fun la. But doing FT... Pls... NO!!!

That was my first FT and is a nightmare for me.... Coz the freezing cold water plus a harsh swimming really can make ppl vomit. I'm not very sure how's TY can vomit la. But after i completed 2 events, I really wanna vomit. The feeeling really come out but force myself to complete the event also. However, also failed. Haha. Good! Go back swim 1.8k.

MC suggestion is great. But before that, make sure the pool is deep enough. Current depth of the pool really can kill ppl if jump from 4th floor... Haha....

PISA..... No.... Haha...
