Well, with great responsibility comes the need for great planning, well, could say this year the committee is lacking the 'planning' ability.... Seriously, this year's AQN is so confined, some seniors even asked 'this year no aquatic night kah? why no news wan? economy that bad?' LOL

Obtaining sponsors is a very challenging task. Believe me I know.
It takes a great deal of planning, time and effort. Plus not to mention a little "thick skin".
Feels like those placed in charge were sitting around until the last minute hoping for handouts from the ex-LG. Speaking from the perspective of an ex-LG, most of us are ever willing to help out and sponsor when we can. We don't mind. It's just that when you ask us at the last minute, that's when we get irritated. We are human as well so try and understand how we feel. In fact, for those amongst us who have sponsored, we actually did so on our own initiative because we knew Aqua Nite was around the corner.

Juniors, Seniors...LGs if you are reading this, take in mind that LG Corps is not a society/body/club that you can fool around with. All the ex-LGs are very very crazy when it comes to having fun BUT, they are f**king crazy when it comes to commitment, responsibility and efficiency.... pick a leaf or two from the old biscuits, i.e.: Evan, SJ, WI, MP and so on. We will not hesitate to help, but we do have other commitments as well.

If you do not grow out of the shell of mummyboy-ness and do-what-you-like attitude, I can foresee 2 outcomes:
1. you'll kill the corps
2. you're killing urself

Grow up LGs, please....Last minute/forgetfulness/acuh-tak-acuh/tidak-apa-ness is going to ruin you and those around you. Trust me, I was once a tidak apa, don't give a damn, always late LG. It came to me that I cannot continue doing all this **** if I want to do something right?

Seriously, I can be harsh, I swear a lot and damn I'm the devil, but heck, still beats loafiness....

I'm totally agreed with what Evan mentioned here. As a senior, whether in the corps or not (mean ex-). They're well being 'told' that Aquatic night is a great event that always.... they need to sponsor something or money... But where is the INVITATION? That's the most important thing when come to an event. U Please don't expect the seniorssss will so-called give u 'SOME' money or gift by calling them LAST-MINUTE and just ask for MONEY or SPONSORSHIP STUFF. That's totally annoying and irritating... and more important thing... Show no respect at all...

Like what TY say, we're here to help if u needs them. But before that, please do let us know and please don't piss the senior off. Again, dear fellow LGs, this is serious matter and don't do thingsssss last minute. U'll ruin the whole event and will make everyone suffer...

Erm Loy Chee, teach we will, IF and ONLY IF we are approached. If one don't ask and the ancient speaks, that's lecturing/scolding/f**king you off and so on....

Give a chance to ask in your own words, and we will try to make you understand in your OWN WORDS....

The 'Scolding' is not really scolding. U should know how to differentiate them lor... But this is the true thinking of 'SOME' seniors of course. If u can get some point from what ppl telling u then u can learn from that. I think it's more effective if u kena tembak rather than ppl tell u gently sometimes. U'll remember that and will never do the same mistakes again. Do revise and think what u should do or shouldn't next time. Fall down is just a process, a process to learn to grow. When u understand why, then u'll know what to do. Imagine... If ur juniors are like that in future 5 or 10 years later? Think about it...

Juniors, you all need to know that, all the seniors are willing to help, but the condition is you have to approach them and asks! If you just wait n wait...who going to know that you all got problem and need helps and advices...

Just my 2 cents... we want to help, not dont want, but... dont know how to help...get it?

When approach, please approach in proper manner. Some of the seniors will feel irritated.  Just try your very best! Don't there are still many shops out there. Not just aims for cash! Vouchers also is a gifts ...
