Hey everyone,

Are we forgetting our most important place?
They most important meeting point of all the lifeguards in USM after training that has spanned generations.
I'm sure you all are aware of the place I speak of, I wish not to mention it.

Hehehe.

*Hint: Jun Yuan's favorite place.

Haha, i enjoyed this comment again.

He is totally oblivious to everything else that doesn't revolve around him.
If he can't mate with it, it is no longer of any significance.

Absolutely blur,

agree with brick...

new addition to my personal list...
Passion of Kerala Banana Leaf Rice, Minden, Gelugor...

the other day i took mutton...
the taste "ok" only...
not much different than the other Indian food i tried before...

but i love the fish curry gravy here...
i think it tastes better the banana leaf restaurant in Chulia Street aka Little India...

the price is expensive if you compare to RedHouse...
but for a curry house...
i think its consider standard...
mutton curry is only RM3...
normally cost more than that...
but the vegetarian set is a little expensive...

some more its near the campus...
a nice...cosy...
quiet environment...
friendly staffs...
good service...
free flow of white rice...suitable for very hungry, post-training, post-fitness test LGs...

a must go for all curry fans...

for a curry house...
i give 4.5/5.0...

and talking about char bui ong...
i guess i'm one of the very few who dislike...em...it...
i think its...
overpriced...ridiculous...
overrated...especially the fried rice...
long wait...ridiculous...
unfriendly service...i hate arrogant bosses...

actually i feel tat once a food become famous ad, it is always tat it will increase the price n start to think tat they r really so "good" n "popular"

it is actually like common trend for every food sold in the world ba..

in jb also like tat. food is very high in price yet still got many ppl willing to pay for it...

now can hardly find food tat is cheap, delicious, n full to eat le.. since everything also naik harga le ma...

Allow me to make a little comment here, Wantan Mee in Chulia street, taste nice, still cheap (price raised only very little for the past 4 years), standard still maintain. It is quite famous, but at least they still deliver.

Thanks to MP for the locations and foods.

There is one seafood oso buey pai called Teluk Kumbar Hao you Seafood. Fast, nice and near the beach with the wind from the sea. Price ok. Not too exp but a little far from USM la. If wanna go must have some occation lo. haha.

Last time when Weix2 around, she brought us to one more western restaurant named "Little Cottage" (in town one- a.k.a Little cottage 1)also not bad. Go there and have lunch, the lunch set cheaper, dinner i think the food is different as i heard is more exp. The feeling is good esp for couple.

As a place to have dinner, it is nice, but for seafood, cannot beat Tambun, nor can it beat the 'zhu char' near jetty.

The crabs there, I can easily grab any in the place near jetty which is twice much larger than the largest teluk kumbar can offer.

So.... mar not in list lor

Oh oh I wanna add some more...

Food:

1. Nyonya laksa in Air Itam... Sells during day. Not the one near Kek Lok Si... I personally think it's super nice and unique. If you wanna know the exact location, ask Chang Ching.

2. For pig organ lovers, there's one stall in one of the branch of Campbell Street. Only at night. From pig's brains to pig's tail... Roasted or boiled... I'm not a fan of pig organs but my mom sweared they're good!

3. Jawa mee-like mi sotong (or you can call it mi rebus) at Esplanade near Fort Cornwallis. Real authentic mamak stuff. Not the crappy curry Maggie mee you'll find in most mamak restaurants.

4. Are we forgetting the Thai restaurant near Hamna?

Kai kai:

1. Pantai Kerachut or Monkey Beach. A place for a good hike and great camp (although I'm not the hiker type @.@)

Events:

1. PC Fair - a must-go for your computer needs

2. Pasar PISA - I keep missing it but it's a great place for bargain-hunters for affordable swimming stuff)

3. Shopping malls~ (For movies, Red Box, meals and also purely shopping pleasure)

Double good
There's a dish called kailan fried kailan.
They hiris the kailan into strips and go deep fried it and then go goreng it again. I think it is nice.
