Greetings everyone,

I wish to inform you all that there is a trip currently being planned for a scuba diving excursion to Pulau Perhentian some time in June. The trip is being scheduled for a week. (Monday to Friday) We are trying to avoid the weekends as it is more expensive.

It is for those interested in taking up both the open-water and advance diving licenses. One can choose to only take either one of the levels aswell if one wishes. As for now, based on rough estimates, the trip should cost around 2.5K for two levels. This is inclusive of accomodation, boat trips, diving equipment, food etc. Only the travelling cost to Kuala Terengganu is not covered as will on your own.

I will post up more details once I have had time to discuss it in greater detail with Kenneth and Chin Teng. For those who are interested in joining us, please drop either myself or Kenneth a message. We are trying to make arrangements to try and reduce the cost of the trip if we can get more people to join.

wow.... 2.5k for 2 levels.. anyway, i ad got Open Water license. so only Adwance i m considering now..

anyway, i wonder whether i can join u all up as i will be having LI under my Bio Sch lecturer. i will need to discuss more with the lecturer. need to noe their pattern of doing things. hope tat i can join u all for the diving trip ya...


ps: evan, do not say till like we going to separate forever.. its sad u noe.. anyway, we will sure keep in touch often de. as long as u r still here la. :)

Updates:

The pricing of 2.5K is the maximum limit. It will probably be cheaper than that. I'm overestimating so that everyone will be aware of cost.
I do not want anyone having any misunderstandings later on and complaining of hidden cost when they have to pay extra.

scuba diving is like that de lar....expensive sport...go for it if u really got the money..or else u will end up unhappy.....just my 2 cents..hehe

ya. agree... those sports need to go down to sea one or go up to sky one, all require a lot of $$ only can enjoy... biggrin.gif

yalo,everything that involve in the air and in the water will be expensive,as long as it is not on the land...

Although it is expensive, I think it is worth to explore urself in another new world...

Like my 1st time diving in Pulau Payar, near Penang, with my Buddy, Mr.Teo(We juz cant leave each other, in b.med,b.cross,award n distinction,v r partners).

The coral there is not very pretty as the travel book pictures, however, I still enjoy it, I still rmb v met one fish with many sharp tooth, look fierce. It stares at JY, WOW, I already far far away lo, JY stay there n moveless, then the fish go away, After that, My instructor told us it though JY bring food for it gua...

Another fun part of diving is u can meet new people n new friends!
haha...although after that trip, u might forgot who r them...
we met 2 japanese girls on that trip, wow, not pretty as in the TV, but malaysian are passionate right? haha... But v r not that malaysian because v dun hav a car...

If u wan, juz go for it, u will not be regret after all, but maybe regret u kena cheated by irresponsible diving centre... cheers~ Care for the nature~ Love nature~

yalo.. pulau payar is where me n mr chek had our 1st time... we got so many 1st time together. i hope CY wont get jealous wif me ya.. hehe..

actually when i saw tat fish, i never expect it will coming towards me, as i didnt bring any bait or food down also.. but when it is jus in front of me, i discovered tat i cant move. i even made a mistake tat is i hold my breath. jus too frightening. i scare tat once i move, it will attack me..

luckily the fish swam away la. it is jus a pampered fish, cos every ppl will feed it when going down.

mayb the fish think i got food to feed it gua... haha..

haha...damn it man...u all got scuba diving license d while i dint have yet...but nvm...last time go pulau weh in indonesia with chin teng really fun.....see many things just snorkeling nia...kakakkaaka...some even cant c it whn u diving..its a vr vr good spot for diving...im sure i will go back there after taking my scuba license...who wanna join me???gt manta ray to c there....hahaha..btw..i will be going to work in middle east soon..n will stay there....whoever heard b4 the RED SEA...that spot is at the top of the top 10 of diving spot in the world..check it out.....the RED SEA...wait i go there work d...thn any scuba diver...come to find me..i provide accomodation for u as my accomodation is free..kekekke..but food n air ticket u sendiri pau..hahhaa...this is after 2 year plan lar..i will inform whn i will b goin there....n summore i plan to go to egypt for backpacking....will inform all dear LG too whn i will go there.....

tat time i got diving lesson liao gua.. ( hopefully)
cause the diving one ppl always delay de.. say was on the 3rd of may.. now ..
hav to put at 18 of may.. .. . damn....
